As a former professional cook, I spent years working in several restaurants. My early training was in traditional cooking methods, but over time I became curious about plant-based food. Once I started cooking this way, my cooking became more creative, and I realized just how powerful simple plant-based meals can be for both health and the planet.
This blog is my way of sharing what I’ve learned with you. I’m here to help people see that plant-based cooking is healthier, less expensive, and much easier than they think. You don’t need fancy ingredients or complicated techniques to make great vegan food. I also like to clear up common myths about plant-based eating. One myth is that vegan diets are lacking in protein. A plant-based diet can provide plenty of protein from foods like beans, lentils, nuts, seeds, and whole grains. When you eat a variety of these foods, your body naturally gets the amino acids it requires.
